I spy, with my little eye...

Under the ground tiny living organisms (bacteria and moulds) fight for food around the roots of plants. Some of these organisms are bad and make the plant sick. Others are good and work with the plant’s roots. Strong, healthy roots make it easier for the plant to get its food from the soil. This makes the plant stronger and it is less likely to get sick. Growers use good moulds to improve life in the soil.
